There's this program called National Novel Writing Month, and it's writing a novel in a month during November. You write from November 1st through November 30th or even less than that, if you reach your word count. www.nanowrimo.org is the "official" adult program, where you're not allowed to set your word count for any less than 50,000 words. www.ywp.nanowrimo is the kid program, where you can set your word count all over the place. If you're thirteen and abouve, you can either sign up for the adult one or the kid one but once you get to be eighteen, you must be part of the adult one, unless you're a teacher with a group of kids who are doing NaNo. It should be really fun! (I've never done it before.)
