I planted a garden this year and surprisingly, most of the things in it are still alive. There were supposed to be flowers from seeds in it, but the day after I planted them, a tornado came by and washed them away. There are probably two shasta daisies in there. I lost one so got another and the original is decomposing somewhere under ground.
Happy
Since our van exploded, we've been looking for a second car because it's really useful when Dad has to have the car pretty much any time of the day or night. (Go here for the van story: http://hannah-ingleside.blogspot.com/2012/06/pretty-happy-funny-real.html; It's near the bottom.)
The son of a lady in church had owned this truck for a long time and wanted to get a new one. He gave this one to Dad. Dad's pretty happy to have it.
Funny
A friend of ours is a farmer and he always digs up rocks in his fields and he keeps the rocks in a pile. He gave us a present of some of the rocks for gardens and the like. (Almost like the family that gave us a truck load of horse manure. It was for our gardens.)

Lydia and Shaanthi went to a missions trip to Malawi this summer. Lydia's gone before, but Shaanthi's never gone on a missions trip anywhere, but we went to the same church as both of them, so that probably helped both of them a little. (Lydia looks like a ghost in that picture. She's not really that pale. Haha. Shaanthi is of India-Indian descent.)
